Warning: I will be posting spoilers so if you want to watch it first, you might want to stop reading now.

I would be lying if I didn’t find this episode so… romantic and laughable despite the seriousness of some of the scenes. I am starting to like the Ki Hoon x Eun Jo pairing and tossing Jung Woo to Hyo Sun instead.

Now on to the review.

The episodes starts with an angry Eun Jo talking to Hyo Sun about their disappearance the other night. Eun Jo finally learns that Kang Sook ran away again and what happened when they met up with Jang. Eun Jo is sick of being guilty and asked Hyo Sun to kick her out so that she could be redeemed but stubborn and dependent Hyo Sun didn’t want to let her go.

Hm, it seems that starting from this episode (I didn’t notice it on the last episode), characters will have their own inner monologues. Eun Jo remarked about how she was dragged by Hyo Sun by her hot hands. Scenes of taking care of Hyo Sun is seen.

Eun Jo then asked Jung Woo to meet up with Jang and asked around about her mother. Hyo Sun wanted her to find Kang Sook and Eun Jo didn’t want to disappoint her younger sister.

Eun Jo on the other hand, took her brother to school and was quizzed about K-Pop artists. I was laughing my ass off as Eun Jo clearly doesn’t understand what her brother is asking and went so far as Jun Soo (brother) demonstrating the dance moves for her. I love B.E.G. and when I saw him dancing Abracadabra, I laughed so hard. With frustration, Jun Soo remarked that their mother knows all about the moves that he was doing.

Speaking of Kang Sook, we see her slaving away in the kitchen owned by her old friend. A fight ensues and the daughter of her friend was crying as she sees her mother trying to defend herself as she is molested by a drunken customer. Kang Sook noticed this and urges the kid to walk with her outside. Maybe she sees the kid as Eun Jo and took pity on her. Oh god, Kang Sook is becoming soft-hearted! O.O

Remember when Jun Soo demonstrated the moves of some of the K-Pop artists? Well, Eun Jo who wanted to please her brother decided to practice on a few dance moves. Unknown to her, Ki Hoon is watching her with a smile on his face. While dancing, Eun Jo thought that her mother is a very unforgivable woman, who dances to this tune and she is then forced to learn them to appease Jun Soo.

Hyo Sun waits for her mother as Jung Woo urged her to eat. He then told her that Kang Sook will come back because of Eun Jo and Jun Soo.

Kang Sook, who must have been feeling guilty about her sudden disappearance, called her daughter. It turns out, she feels more guilty about what Eun Jo experienced with her as she was growing up. This might have come up because of what happened the night before with her friend.

Ki Hoon and Eun Jo went to the telephone department to ask about the pay phone number that Kang Sook used to call her and drove towards their destination. Eun Jo asked Ki Hoon to just go home and she will handle everything but Ki Hoon didn’t budge, stating that now she knows everything, he can talk to her like he should have done when they saw each other again. Hyo Sun and Jung Woo also drove to the area where Eun Jo and Ki Hoon are headed.

And of course, Ki Hoon and Eun Jo’s car got engine problem and they are stuck in a dense part of the region. Ohhh, alone at last and Ki Hoon urged Eun Jo to lean on him once in a while.

You know, ever since Ki Hoon bare it all to Eun Jo, he talks with a smile all the time, especially when talking to Eun Jo. Reminds me of the earlier episodes where he tries to make Eun Jo laugh all the time.

OMG, Jung Woo and Hyo Sun finally sees Kang Sook. Coincidentally, they ate in a restaurant where Kang Sook is working as a cook. A fate, how cruel art thou.

Meanwhile, Ki Hoon and Eun Jo took the bus to get to their destination. Eun Jo is fast asleep and Ki Hoon took her cellphone which was being held by her hand lest it will fall to the floor.

Then a confrontation ensues as Hyo Sun talked to Kang Sook about her leaving the house. Kang Sook opened up to Hyo Sun and told her that she now knows how to be ashamed. Kang Sook also told Hyo Sun that she will do everything in her power to leave the house again if they tried dragging her back, and will go as far as killing herself just to get out. Hyo Sun went home but not without Kang Sook’s promise that she will come back in her own time and not to leave the restaurant.

Eun Jo and Ki Hoon finally arrived to the restaurant and was greeted with Kang Sook’s friend. Despite Kang Sook’s promise to Hyo Sun, she left and Eun Jo was frustrated about it. Ki Hoon embraced Eun Jo to stop her hysterics and told her how his mother died.

Back home, the sisters tried to calm a distraught brother and Hyo Sun performed what Dae Sung does to help Jun Soo sleep. In bed, Hyo Sun was surprised to hear Eun Jo call Dae Sung “father” instead of the usual “Hyo Sun’s father”. In return, Eun Jo was also surprised when Hyo Sun told her the reason as to why she wanted to be away for a while.

Another inner monologue from Eun Jo is heard, stating that while Hyo Sun changed from a naive little girl who gets her way by sweet-talking everyone to an understanding and experienced adult; she in turn was still the same stubborn girl with claws, ready to strike at anyone.

Trouble brews as the elders wanted to sell their shares to Ki Jung and wants to talk to the sisters about it. Because of Ki Hoon’s intervention, the sisters are preoccupied for the time-being, which is really delaying the inevitable. A former director of Hong Brewery then called Ki Hoon and told him about the files about the brewery that he has that can destroy Ki Jung.

So what will happen next? Will Ki Hoon blackmail Ki Jung into withdrawing his deals to the elders? Will he put the Hong Brewery to justice? Will he tell Eun Jo or will he be a martyr once again and do everything by himself?

Favorite Scene: When Ki Hoon and Eun Jo in the bus together. Ki Hoon has so much hesitation going on, that maybe he doesn’t want Eun Jo to wake up. It went on like this:

Ki Hoon: *looks at Eun Jo*

Eun Jo: *sleeps*

Ki Hoon: *saws phone about the fall from Eun Jo’s fingers, grabs phone and puts it in his pocket*

Eun Jo: *sleeps*

Ki Hoon: *sees that it must be uncomfortable to sleep with her neck bent forward, was about to move it so that it would lean on the seat… but hesitates*

Eun Jo: ZZZZZZ.

Ki Hoon: *pushes Eun Jo’s head to lean on the seat*

Eun Jo: *still sleeping but her head is probably as stubborn as her so it went back to it’s original position*

Ki Hoon: *was about to put her head on his shoulder but hesitates again*

Eun Jo: ZZZZZZ.

Ki Hoon: *finally has the courage to push Eun Jo’s head and make it lean on his shoulder, was successful and was smiling like a love sick fool which is probably what he is right now*

AHHHHH, this scene is so romantic and I was gushing as I watch this. Ki Hoon obviously happy with the way he positioned Eun Jo’s head to his shoulder that he is smiling all the time they were in the bus.
